my favourite landscape/botanical photogrpaher of the moment is jo stephen. she's remarkably candid about her technique and gear on her blog but, at the same time, it's her eye that makes the difference. she's got a calendar out for xmas if that's your thing.

this type of x-ray representation has become more common in recent years but i don't think you can go wrong with a decent image from nature of a monday and albert koetsier does it perfectly!

i think this comes from jonathan singer's botanica magnifica. even if it doesn't check it out. if you like this sort of botanical photogrpahy then this is for you.....

karl blossfeldt

karl blossfeldt is proper old school and it's rewarding to look back over his images to see not only a different culture of image but also the reach of his influence over time. one of my favourite botanical photographers.

anne hoerter (who also somewhat confusingly sometimes calls herself aine) - i'm never going to pass up on botanical images as beautiful as these
