my favourite task was binding the cut stalks with thread pre-wire. i like the wire tho. waiting for t to learn more about wire weaving and such so that i can do more with it.

the first one... it expresses so much violence and pain, maybe anger also, it hurts almost. is this what you wanted or is it reverberating like this only in myself?
oh the dry roses and the gentle brown, the quiet orange... I recognize them :-)
I like the way they contrast with the wire and the broken pieces - intensifying the feeling that somehting's gone wrong - with the world? and looking into myself - I find - what? oh I don't know. there is something deeply disturbing about it...
thank you for showing them to us.

i am trying to learn more about wire work myself, i have a big big big bundle of wild sage that needs binding.

i like the cow, too, and i like the agey looking treatment and red is really the only colour that paperclip could have been, for real!!!

and the first one reminds me of a book i had called 'squashed faeries' where this guy painted all kinds of squashed faeries as though they were really pressed into the pages.
