linocut - reduction
i don't do much linocut any more because my arm's wrecked and when i do i much prefer hand colouring because it's simpler. and it doesn't mess with yout head as much! but this is a lovely wee video about the reduction process as well as the planning, time and commitment it takes to make this sort of thing.

rosalie dace
haven't had anything on here re quiltmaking for a dog's age so here's rosalie dace. she's one of those people who, if i'm talking to a quiltmaker, i pull out some images of. if they're keen and don't just want to sew squares together (and nothing wrong with that) i get to watch their eyes widen!

lina victor
at first glance, shamelessly influemced by eduardo paolozzi (and i can't grumble about that, lina viktor maybe a bit too obsessed with being in her own pictures for me but that's the age we're in. that said i'm loving the use of gold. and her blue, of course!
