i was taken by this interview and i liked wtaching him set up, along with the tidiness of his workspace. the work? maybe not for me, but these days i'm finding lots of interest in the 'not for me' category, esp in terms of looking at technique and process, all this categorisation, putting people, and onself, in boxes, just seems very limiting and counterproductive these days

it's been a year when i've cycled less outside than i've ever done and, truth be told, never felt more alienated from the experience of cycling, but at the same time it's lovely to see people who haven't. liking this wee doco, which is slightly different. does nothing to change my view i'll never camp again tho! lol

 me, i've stuck with my direct positive paper, mainly for reasons of simplicity but a lot of my pinhole acquaintances swear by contact printing. here's ari showing how to make it easy.

i wasn't taken by the trailer for the upcoming 'lee' film so here's this instead which, i think, is likely to be much more interesting

if this is the sort of the you like then this is the sort of thing you'll want to kick back to, get  a cup of tea and enjoy the memories. i'm not going to pretend for a second that disc brakes aren't better but some of these v brake set ups i would've died for back in the day. plus i just love the simplicity and adventure of them all, happy days!
